There are angular complexities stabilizing the flow through our complicated nature.

Our narratives tell these tales. Some are taller than others.

Gold Leaf
The landscape features most prominently in the body of my work. It is a landscape of suggestion, rather than a faithful figurative rendering; it is a landscape of fiction and abstraction. Major influences on my work have been the Canadian landscape, the tropical forest of the Congo and the land of the Mediterranean/Middle East. Born in Exeter, Ontario,I studied at the University of Prince Edward Island, McGill University in Montreal and the Université du Québec à Trois Rivières.
I always ask one question; when does the unconventional become so utterly conventional as to become uninteresting - dull in fact? I hope these are not dull whatever else they are. Let me know what you think.

Circles
Consider the circle; so simple yet so complex especially geometrically speaking. There is the circumference and the radius, the arc and the disc, the diameter and the centre -- no doubt other bits that I have missed.

Perfectly round with its ends meeting; we sit in them and study in them -- so many circles.

Flourishing (fl. 21st Century)
Growing well, being successful are all part of thriving and prospering. Does this equal flourishing?
Blooming, blossoming, burgeoning -- certainly quantity plays its part.

Always in a state of activity or production -- industrious. There must be an equation with variables galore somehow seeking and achieving balance. But then, I never was very good in math.

Plane Sailing
Plane of existence, plane of consciousness, plane of development -- it is a puzzle.

Straight lines and mathematics, esotericism and other worldliness; carpenters use them, indeed we fly in them. Hydroplaning -- there's a possibility.
Geometry, my dear Watson.
