Scuttling Sky

I saw the clouds over the harbour in layers of colour and form. The sky changes the dynamics of the land and the sea. 


I know that sky, I thought -- it's the one I painted in 2002 -- Scuttling Sky.

All in a Row (reprised)

It speaks of ditches and windbreaks, of fields, and wayward seeds making a soft landing, protected from the plough and the combine.

 A landing that favours growth and nurtures seedlings. A demarcation line.
