Drawing and skeletons

"Drawing is the bones of thought" says Dorothea Rockburne, in an interview for MoMA exhibit:
Dorothea Rockburne: Drawing Which Makes Itself (September 21, 2013-February 2, 2014).

"...the bones of thought"-- it presents an interesting image.

Ink drawing (6" x 4")

Still Life = Nature Morte

"Oh", he said, "still life?"
"Hmmmmm" I thought, "abstract still life?"

Collage with ink (8" x 6")

Fields and tree -- roaming freely; is it the same tree?

Acrylic on paper (22" x 15")
Like our thoughts on a summer day; are they the same thoughts?

Busy Lives

Getting up and going places, intersecting with worlds, other worlds, other places and other spaces.

Ink drawing (6" x 4")
Sometimes colliding...

Ink drawing (6" x 4")
Energy unleashed.
